P-products for Selection of Ship Designers

چکیده
Concept lattices and rough sets abstractions are applied for combining firms’ characteristics obtained from different sources in a decision support system prototype, based on P -products. Applying methods from rough sets abstractions allows obtaining information on which elements belong to the kernel system and which ones belong to the closure system. Key–Words: Rough sets, Concept lattices, Design, Decision support system

Hull Performance Assessment and Comparison of Ship-Shaped and Cylindrical FPSOs With Regards To: Stability, Sea-Keeping, Mooring and Riser Loads In Shallow Water
Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading “FPSO” have become a popular choice since 1980s for marginal and fast-track developments where subsea pipeline is not an economic or feasible solution for export. Field development usually starts with a concept selection procedure which is constituted from a sequence of multi-disciplinary decision making tasks. As limited data is availabl...

Color is one of the main indicators of aesthetics issues. Due to importance of colors quality among the industrial products, colors selection for products is a key point for production. Furthermore understanding and conceptions of the mentioned visual factors is complicated. Also, colors as a very important aesthetic factor is a challengeable and effective subject for design’s team work and th...
متن کاملEffect of Ship Fuel Sulfur Reduction Law on Iranian Oil Price (IMO Law)
In recent decades, the increase of pollution from consumption of oil and petroleum products has led to development of many environmental laws. It is important for Iranian policy makers to be informed about the impact of such laws on oil prices, given the dependence of the country’s budget on oil revenues. Under a new International Maritime Organization regulation passed in mid-2016, ships are r...
متن کاملExisting Ship Design Methodologies
The design of ships is an inherently complex process. This complexity is significantly increased when the particular ship being designed is a naval surface combatant. Naval combatant designers, or more appropriately, design teams, must not only address the factors common to all seagoing vessels such as hull form, propulsion, and maneuverability, but additionally must consider the selection, pla...
متن کاملAn expert system using rough sets theory for aided conceptual design of ship's engine room automation
More and more complicated conceptual design of ship’s engine room (CDSER) heavily depends on designers’ engineering knowledge and existing ship data. To achieve intelligent design at the initial ship design stage, many researchers have made much significant progress in this field, however, most of them only focused on how to find the similar constructed ships. At present, how to utilize these e...
